Rankify in your AI assistant
Ask ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Perplexity, Gemini, or Meta Muse how your website is doing on Google — and let it use your Rankify account to answer, plan, and draft.
The connection
Rankify exposes a remote MCP server (Model Context Protocol, Streamable HTTP) secured with OAuth 2.1:
Any assistant that supports custom MCP connectors can add it. When it first calls Rankify you'll be asked to sign in (or create a free account — 14-day trial, no card) and approve the connection.
Add it to your assistant
Claude (claude.ai, desktop, mobile)
- Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
- Name: Rankify · URL: the MCP server URL below
- Click Connect and sign in to Rankify when prompted
Works on every Claude plan. A directory listing is in review.
ChatGPT
- Settings → Apps & Connectors (Developer mode on Business/Enterprise) → Create
- Paste the MCP server URL · Authentication: OAuth
- Sign in to Rankify when prompted
A public listing in the ChatGPT plugin directory is in review.
Grok
- grok.com/connectors → New connector → Custom
- Paste the MCP server URL and complete the sign-in
Perplexity (Pro / Max / Enterprise)
- Account settings → Connectors → + Custom connector → Remote
- Name: Rankify · MCP Server URL below · Authentication: OAuth · Transport: Streamable HTTP
Gemini Spark
- Connected Apps → add a custom MCP app with the URL below (personal Google AI Ultra accounts)
Meta Muse
- Ask Muse: "Connect me to Rankify at gorankify.com" — Muse builds the connection from this page
- Approve the connection on the Rankify consent screen
A reviewed Muse connector is in Meta's queue.
Things to try
- “How is my website doing on Google? What should I fix first?”
- “Did any of my keywords drop this week?”
- “What does my SEO brief say I should focus on this month?”
- “Which keywords should I target next, and which am I not tracking yet?”
- “Run a scan of competitor.com and compare it to my site.”
- “What did Rankify's Autopilot draft overnight?”
Tools
Generated from the live server. Read tools never spend credits; tools that do say so in their description and the assistant should confirm the cost with you first.
| Tool | What it does | Type | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| list_brands | Lists the websites (brands) in the person's Rankify account with their ids. Call this first when the account may have more than one website, then pass the chosen brand_id to other tools. Read-only; costs no credits. | read | free |
| get_seo_overview | The one-screen health check for a website in Rankify: overall SEO score with its breakdown, tracked keywords and how many rank on page 1, average position, latest page-audit and AI-visibility scores, content published in the last 30 days, and credits left. Start here when someone asks how their site is doing. Read-only; costs no credits. | read | free |
| get_action_plan | Rankify's prioritized to-do list for a website: the highest-impact fixes, pages to publish, and keywords to target, ranked by impact and effort with a deep link that opens each one pre-filled in the app. Use it when someone asks what to fix or do next. Items the person's plan doesn't unlock are returned as locked placeholders with real evidence. Read-only; costs no credits. | read | free |
| get_rankings | Every tracked keyword for a website with its current Google position, movement over 7 and 28 days, the page that ranks, and whether Google shows an AI Overview for it (and cites the site). Use it for questions like 'did anything drop this week?' or 'what do I rank for?'. Optionally filter to keywords containing a phrase. Read-only; costs no credits. | read | free |
| get_seo_brief | Rankify's monthly SEO brief for a website: whether things are improving, what happened (rankings, Search Console traffic, audits, work done), and the 30-day focus items plus quarter bets. Use it for 'how did this month go?' or 'what should I focus on?'. On Free/Starter plans the metrics are real but the focus copy is a locked teaser. Read-only; costs no credits. | read | free |
| get_keyword_ideas | Keyword opportunities Rankify has already found for a website (from the onboarding scan, keyword research, topic planning, and competitor gaps), ranked by priority with search volume, difficulty, intent, the page type to build, and whether each is already tracked. Use it to answer 'what should I target next?'. Does not run new research — that's a credit-costing action. Read-only; costs no credits. | read | free |
| list_content | Recent content Rankify drafted for a website — blog posts, service/landing pages, Google Business Profile posts, FAQs — with type, target keywords, SEO vs AI-search mode, creation date, and the live URL if the person marked it published. Optionally include a short excerpt. Use it to see what's been written or to pick a draft to refresh. Read-only; costs no credits. | read | free |
| get_autopilot_activity | What Rankify's Autopilot did overnight for a website (Pro plan): drafts waiting for the person's review, plus recent automatic re-scans and audits. Use it for 'what did Rankify do for me?' or morning check-ins. Autopilot never publishes — everything here is a draft or report awaiting a decision. Read-only; costs no credits. | read | free |
| get_credits | Returns the account's current plan, credits remaining this billing period, when they refresh, and what each Rankify tool costs in credits. Use it before proposing an action that spends credits so the person can decide. Read-only; costs no credits. | read | free |
| start_site_scan | Starts Rankify's website scan for any public domain — homepage SEO audit, AI-visibility check, keyword opportunities with search volume, current Google positions, and the competitors ranking instead. Results for a domain scanned in the last 24 hours return instantly; otherwise the scan runs for 1–2 minutes and get_scan_result reports progress. For the account's own websites the full findings are returned; for other domains a preview (scores and counts). Reaches the public web. Costs no credits; limited per day. | action · web | free |
| get_scan_result | Progress or results of a website scan started with start_site_scan — pass the scan_id it returned, or the domain to fetch the most recent scan from the last 24 hours. Read-only; costs no credits. | read | free |
| get_upgrade_link | Creates a secure Stripe Checkout link for a Rankify plan (starter $59/mo, growth $169/mo, pro $249/mo; annual billing saves ~17%) and summarizes what the plan includes. Use it when the person wants more credits or a locked feature, or when another tool returned upgrade_required / out_of_credits. The link opens Rankify's own checkout — nothing is charged by calling this tool. Costs no credits. | action | free |
| get_app_link | Builds a link that opens a Rankify tool with the form pre-filled (keyword, URL, topic…) so the person can review and run it themselves — links never run anything or spend credits. Destinations: dashboard (Dashboard with the SEO brief and action plan); onboarding_scan (Free onboarding scan that sets up a website); settings (Settings); billing (Billing settings); pricing (Public pricing page); content_generator (Content Generator (params: keyword, topic, content_type)); topic_planner (Topic Planner (params: keyword as the seed, location)); seo_analyzer (SEO Analyzer / page audit (params: url, keyword)); ai_visibility (AI Visibility Analyzer (param: url)); structured_content (FAQ / schema / summary generator (param: url)); content_refresh (Content Refresh for a live page (params: url, keyword)); keyword_research (Keyword Research (param: keyword)); local_pages (Local landing pages (params: service, location)); rank_tracking (Rank Tracking analytics); autopilot_review (Autopilot review queue); content_history (Content History). Read-only; costs no credits. | read | free |
Permissions and privacy
- A connected assistant can access only the data in your Rankify account, plus public information about websites you ask it to scan.
- Actions that use credits (audits, scans, drafts) draw from your plan's monthly allowance, exactly as in the app.
- Connectors produce drafts, reports, and links. Rankify never publishes to or modifies your website through a connector.
- Data returned to the assistant is then governed by that provider's privacy policy; Rankify doesn't receive your conversations.
- Disconnect any time in Rankify → Settings → Integrations → Connected AI assistants, or from the assistant's own connector settings. See our Privacy Policy and Terms.
Limits
- Up to 200 tool calls per account per day through assistants; website scans are capped per day, and repeat scans of the same domain within 24 hours are instant and free.
- Available on every plan, including Free. Some data (the full action plan, the SEO brief's focus items, Autopilot) unlocks on Growth and Pro — the tools say so and can return an upgrade link.
Troubleshooting
- “Unauthorized” / sign-in loop: verify your Rankify email address first, then reconnect.
- Consent page says the request expired: go back to the assistant and click Connect again.
- The assistant says no website is set up: run the free onboarding scan in Rankify once.
